We still have more than a month of winter left, but Iowa’s weather is currently very spring like. Forecasters say new record high temperatures may be set across much of the state. National Weather Service meteorologist Allan Curtis says normal highs in the 30s are giving way to the 50s, 60s and perhaps even the 70s.
Yesterday’s high in Grinnell was 56 degrees. The record is 63 degrees. Today’s predicted high is 69 degrees. The record is 65 degrees, set in 2011.
