Grinnell High School Graduation news

Commencement exercises for the Grinnell High School Class of 2019 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Grinnell High School gymnasium.  Ms. Helen Redmond, President of the Grinnell-Newburg Board of Education, will present the diplomas.

Mr. Darien Robins will be the principal speaker.  Other commencement speakers will include Jarrett Rose who will deliver the honor address.  Senior Class President Eli Ivanov will offer the challenge to the Junior Class, with the response given by Yonatan Ambrosio, Junior Class President.  Marty Allen will deliver the opening remarks and Julia Chamberland will deliver the closing remarks.

Senior Honors Night will be held Saturday, May 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Grinnell High School Auditorium.  The 2019 Honor Graduates will be presented medallions.  College and university scholarships and state and local organization scholarships will also be presented. The Grinnell High School Vocal Music Department will provide special music.

All events are open to the public.
