The Jasper County concert Association Presents: Todd Oliver

The Jasper County Concert Association presents nationally known comedian, Todd Oliver, on Thursday, Nov. 15th at 7 PM in the High School Center for Performance. Todd will be accompanied by his amazing talking dogs, hilarious comedy, music, and a bit of magic. this will be a great family show! Individual tickets are available at the door for $20. Annual Chicken Noodle Dinner and Quilt Auction

On November 16th, at the Newton Salvation Army, The annual chicken noodle dinner and quilt auction has been set! The quilts are made by the 1/4 inch quitters group. There will be baskets auctioned off and a silent auction. All proceeds raised go towards services offered to the community of Jasper County. Event begins at 5:30 PM.

Free A1C Screening

On Saturday, November 17th from 8 AM to noon, Emily and Jenny will be conducting free Hemoglobin A1C tests, which measure average blood glucose over a 2-3 month period at the Hy Vee You Mobile! Fasting is not required. Stop by Customer Service to reserve your time. Call Emily or Jenny with questions.

On Saturday November 17th, the NHS Cheer team will be having their annual NHS Cheer Vendor Fair from 11 AM to 4 PM, in the high school’s cafeteria. Admission is FREE and there will also be a bake sale along with the vendors! Come on down to support the cheerleaders!

Refuge Photo Exhibit Open House

Visit the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, November 17, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to see the winners of the third Annual Refuge Photo Contest. The winning entry for 2018 was taken by Kristie Burns from Windsor Heights.  Light refreshments will be available. The exhibit will be on display through December 31. Animal Homes on the Refuge

Explore this question and more as attendees examine how different animals build homes and what they need to survive on Nov. 18th at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge.
