Funeral services for Mildred E. (Tootie) Slycord will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton. 

A Visitation with the family will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorials in Tootie's name are being designated to Hospice of Jasper County.
