Questions related to employment law and practices will be the topic of an upcoming Lunch and Learn in Grinnell.

 

The workshop is sponsored by Poweshiek Iowa Development, Iowa Valley Community College District, and Iowa Workforce Development. It will feature Chief Administrative Law Judge Dan Anderson…who will address questions related to unemployment law issues… including… quarterly reporting, protesting unemployment claims, preparing and presenting your case and appeal procedures.  Other topics include discharges, quits, refusal of work or refusal of recall, issues involving part-time employees, pensions, vacation, severance and holiday pay.
