Nelson Oliver Lambert, age 80, of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Coburn Funeral Home of Monroe at 10:30 a.m., with burial following at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. 

The family will greet friends for a luncheon at the community room in the Monroe City Hall following the committal service at the cemetery.
