Cub Scout Pack 356 Book & Toy Drive 4/17 & 4/24

You can help children and teens at Blank Children’s Hospital or support projects and programs at Iowa Lutheran Hospital with this Book & Toy Drive. For the Blank Children’s Hospital they are accepting new items only. All books and toys will be donated directly to Blank, which will then be distributed to patents at the hospital. Stuffed animals of any kind cannot be accepted due to infection control. Gifts cannot contain Latex (including duct tape), candy or food. Many patients have allergies. Violent themed items are also not allowed. For Iowa Lutheran Hospital they are asking for gently used items. All books and toys will be taken to the Not New Shop, which benefits projects and programs for the Iowa Lutheran Hospital. This drive will be April 17th and 24th on Monday’s between 6 pm and 7 pm. Or being your donation on May 1st from 6 pm to 7 pm and join the scouts for a spaghetti dinner at The First Christian Church at 314 East 2nd Street North in Newton.
