Jasper County Conservation Halloween Hike

“MAGIC OF NATURE” HALLOWEEN NATURE HIKE
Jasper County Conservation is inviting the public to a Halloween night hike featuring the “Magic of Nature” on Friday, October 27 at the Newton Izaak Walton League, located west of Newton on Hwy.

This is a fun and educational, not scary, event featuring skits performed by volunteers with Jasper Conservation Connection and the Newton Community Theatre. Hour-long hikes will begin at 6:00pm and will depart every 15 minutes. The last hike will begin at 8:00pm. Hikers will learn about wildlife and listen to some familiar songs from popular children’s movies.
Parents with young children are encouraged to come earlier in the evening. Along with the hike, participants will be able to enjoy hotdogs provided by the Izaak Walton League, roast marshmallows
over the fire, go blacklight tracking, make fall crafts, and take haywagon rides. Please check in at the clubhouse building. The cost is a free-will donation to Jasper County Conservation.
