Jasper County RSVP Free Tax Assistance Program

This program is for low and middle income taxpayers, in addition to those age 60 and older. The program is being held at DMACC 600 North 2nd Avenue West in Newton. February 1-February 28 appointments will be for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am until 4 pm. March 1-April 12 appointments are being held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am until 4 pm. Thursday Evenings March 2 & 23 from 5 until 7 pm and Saturday March 11 from 11 am until 1 pm. An appointment can also be made at the Colfax Library on Friday February 10 from 11 am until 2 pm. Tax preparation is done by appointment only. To make an appointment call any Tuesday or Wednesday from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm ONLY. Beginning January 10. To schedule an appointment call 641-792-6433.
