Jasper County Conservation Board will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) program on Wednesday, November 10 at the Jasper County Armory/Annex Building in Newton. The public is invited to come for 10:00 a.m. coffee and a program given by Alex Nuzum, Education Coordinator at the Greater Des Moines Botantical Gardens.
Nuzum will talk about what is new at the gardens, their educational programming for all ages, and different ways people can get involved.
The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
