OWLS Program “What’s in the Night Sky”
Jasper County Conservation Board will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS)
program on Wednesday, November 13 at the Jasper County Armory/Annex Building in
Newton. The public is invited to come for 10:00 a.m. coffee and a presentation given by
Greg Woolever from the Des Moines Astronomical Society (DMAS). Greg will give an
update from Ashton Observatory and share a few things happening in the night sky to
watch for.
The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active
and learn new things about the natural world.
