Jasper County Conservation is now renting snowshoes out of the Jasper  County Armory/Annex Building in Newton. A minimum of four inches of snow  is required for rental. Rental prices for four different sizes of snowshoes start at  $5 for half-day usage, with the option to rent the equipment over a weekend.  

More information about Jasper County’s snowshoes and the rental agreement  can be found at www.jaspercountyconservation.com, or by visiting the Jasper  County Conservation office in the Armory Building at 1030 W. 2nd St. S., Newton. Snowshoes must be picked up and returned to this location during  normal office hours. Late fees and charges for any damage will be applied if  necessary.
