Jasper County’s 7-Day Positivity Rate for COVID-19 Currently Highest in the State

According to the State’s coronavirus tracking website,  Jasper County’s current 7-day positivity rate of 12-percent is the highest in the state. No other county is above 9-percent. The State’s website says Jasper County has had 77 COVID-19 cases confirmed in the past week. As of this morning,  the County’s pandemic totals are 4-thousand 55 cases out of 42-thousand 388 tests. So far…3-thousand 335 of the County’s cases have ended with recoveries, with 65 coronavirus related deaths. The County’s test number is up 178 from yesterday (Tuesday) morning, while the case number is up 10 and recoveries are up two.
