National Weather Service Says 50-Degree Highs Will Not Last to Thanksgiving

National Weather Service says we are going to see a 20-degree plus jump in our high temperature today (Tuesday), compared to yesterday (Monday). Monday’s High as the KCOB studios was 37. Today (Tuesday) …is expected to be 59. Unfortunately, the Weather Service says the 50-degree plus highs will not stay around past Wednesday. Meteorologist Roger Vachalek says mid-30’s is the best that can be hoped for on Thanksgiving.

The bright spot in that Holiday forecast according to Vachalek, is no snow or freezing rain.

Last year’s Thanksgiving day high in Newton was 47…with a low of 33.
