Prairie City’s Mayor Elect Says City Departments Need More Space

Prairie City’s new Mayor has concerns about space in City facilities. Eric Imerman was elected to a 2-year term in November after Chad Alleger decided  it was time for someone else to lead the City. Alleger ran uncontested for an At-Large City Council seat. Since the election, Imerman has been spending time with employees for the various City Departments. He says a lack of space was a common complaint.

Although he took the Oath of Office at the last City Council meeting, Imerman will not officially become Prairie City’s New Mayor until next week.
