Ankeny Man Serving Jasper County Jail Term for Sharing a Woman’s Nude Photo
A 33 year old Ankeny man arrested for sharing a nude photograph of a 28 year old woman with a 28 year old man, without the woman’s consent, is serving a 15 day sentence in the Jasper County Jail. The case against Shaun Edward Troxel was investigated by the Newton Police. The arrest report says the victim reported the offense Sunday afternoon June 9th, about 24 hours after Troxel shared her nude photo. The Ankeny man pleaded guilty to 1st Degree Harassment and began serving his jail time this past Saturday afternoon. District Associate Judge Steven Holwerda suspended another 165 days in jail and placed Troxel on Probation for 2 years. The Ankeny man also has to pay a 625-dollar fine.
