Boston Celtics’ forward Gordon Hayward suffered a fractured left hand against the San Antonio Spurs over the weekend, and will be evaluated by a specialist this week.

Hayward was averaging 20.3 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game, and was making his way back from his ankle injury he suffered at the beginning of the 2017-18 season.

Hayward is making $32,700,690 this season. He has a player option worth $34,187,085 for next season. Last season, Hayward averaged 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 83.4 percent from the free-throw line.
