Newton High School Principal Praises the Work of All School District Staff
A month has now passed since the Newton School District began the 2020-2021 school year. High School Principal Bill Peters has told the school board teachers and staff have done some amazing work the past 4 weeks with virtual and in-classroom learning taking place.
Peters also says a lot is being asked of school nurses, who’ve had contact tracing added to their job.
The efforts of the school district’s coaches and sponsors have also been noted by the High School Principal.
Peters believes all groups of district employees behind the scenes should be commended for what they’ve done so far. The school year in Newton began Tuesday September 8th. All students are taught remotely on Mondays, with students in schools Tuesday through Friday.
